“I Know What I Want…”

It is always a challenge to invite visually impaired people (VIP) to step out of their home and work. Some of the reasons are having low self-esteem toward themselves for being a visually impaired; lacking of confidence to achieve their dream; and convince that they cannot work and contribute back to the society due to their disability.

“With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.” (Matt 19:26, NIV)

Praise the Lord, God is using Cultural Café ministry, powered by Joy Beyond Vision Community (JBVC), to help the visually impaired people to recognize their ability that god

has given to them.

“I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.” (John 10:10b, NIV)

For instance, one of our VIP members was initially refusing to join the training program at Cultural Cafe. He believed he could not do anything due to his vision impairment. However, he finally came after we have given him lots of encouragement and support. After he worked at the Cafe for twelve months, we were able to help this individual to have a proper understanding about blindness, ultimately build up his confidence and motivate him to live up his dream! this VIP has left the program and went to China to learn and become a Massage therapy! He has successfuly completed the training and now practicing his new skills at home.

” “being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.” (Phil 1:6, NIV)

May God continue to use Joy Beyond Vision Community (JBVC) to bring hope to the visually impaired people! Please consider becoming our ministry partner, together we can make a difference!
